TOM WELCOMES OLD & NEW OWNERS

Having bought three breeze up horses at the start of the season, Tom is delighted to welcome Russell Jones, who previously had horses in training with Tom at Manor House Stables, and David Foy, a first time racehorse owner, to Uplands Stables.

Tom and Russell have shared great successes, with Devious Company, Ever Given and Scarlet Bear just three of the horses that have carried Russell’s blue and orange silks into the winners enclosure for connections. The latter two were both sired by Kodi Bear, the same sire as Pedro And The Bear. We hope that owner, trainer and sire have even more success with this good looking filly over the coming seasons.

In contrast, David Foy, the new owner of the Profitable x Intuit colt, is a first time racehorse owner. David reached out to Tom after hearing of his return to Lambourn and was taken by this colt on his visit to Uplands. David’s interest in racing came partly from running a pub close to Newbury racecourse. We wish him good luck on his first venture into racehorse ownership!

The third breeze up purchase, a bay filly by Kessaar, is now called Queen Of Uplands, She is being syndicated, details of which are available here.
