Purchased at Goffs Premier Yearling Sale for £45,000. Sergei Prokofiev has had a blistering start to his stallion career this year, leading the first season sires championship. This season Tom has trained two Sergei Prokofiev’s and both have ability and a wonderful attitude, one of which was Seraphim Angel who won the Lily Agnes at Chester this year. Royal Applause doesn’t need an introduction as a Broodmare sire, siring the likes of Blue Point and English Oak. He was purchased off Denniff Stud who we’ve had lots of success with over the years.
