The rain poured down at Bath on Friday 17th April but that did not deter Marcellinus as he never saw another rival in the extended 5f 0-80 handicap. He pinged the gates under a positive ride from Pierre-Louis Jamin and won quite impressively on his handicap debut. Marcellinus made the long trip to Bath worthwhile for his loyal owner Derek Passant. He’ll be aimed at the Chester May Festival now.
